The Polard Flats Railroad is a great operating layout and a lesson in evolving construction and size. All propulsion is by live steam locomotives.  Track and switches are all code 250 nickel silver.  The focus of the railtoad is American live steam. The mainline loops are twin, 250′long, with 10′- 12′ diameter curves.  Expect to see a mix of passenger and freight trains running, and more, all pulled by real working live steam engines.  All of the track work is elevated at waist height, which permits easy control and viewing of the action.  More coming soon.
